Centre for Teaching and Learning

Plan : Is a teaching plan which includes the pedagogy, assessment and time frame. Faculty prepare lesson plan well in advance before the course starts and it’s updated in the department portal “My Campuz”. Centre for Teaching and Learning collates the lesson plan of the courses semester wise for documentation and tracking purpose.

Word Association Techniques – Involves presenting a basket of words and responses of the students instantly.
Reflective Teaching
Think Pair Share – Small group activity rather than the entire class
Financial Modelling – Integration of Spread sheet with financial aspects.

Micro Teaching : Peer group assessment of classroom teaching and interaction. This semester we had our faculties Mr. Mukund , Ms. Reshma and Mr. Amol had their respective assessments.

Centre for Industry Interface

The CII intends to act as a bridge and catalyst for providing a well-designed connection between the Industry and the College. This integration is expected to harness and accelerate interactions between the industry and the college in order to contribute towards delivering practical and skilled based education and R&D initiatives. The CII is an interactive and collaborative arrangement between academic institutions and business corporations for the achievement of certain mutually inclusive goals and objectives.

Centre for Mentoring

Our college believes that every student deserves an opportunity to make optimum use of her or his abilities. With this view in mind, our college has started the practice of mentoring in which every student has a mentor who will focus on the overall development of the student during the two years of post - graduation. Mentors go that extra mile and pay individual attention and support to each and every student.

Centre for Professional Development

The forum metaphorically looks at a very large view considering all round development of faculty. The committee organizes FDP (Faculty Development Programmes), Workshops, Seminars from Time to time by inviting external resource persons. The committee as well assists the faculty on taking up Professional Internships to gain Corporate Experience and apply the same in academics. Mini Research and Industry projects are as well facilitated from the committee. (JAM) Just a Minute sessions are organized which test the general knowledge of the faculties wherein the faculties speak on the unique topic of their choice for a minute. The committee as well encourages faculties to take up MOOC courses, refresher courses to enhance their academic potential. Faculty academic and professional profiles are maintained semester wise which gives an idea of their career development.

Centre for Indian Ethos

Centre for Indian Ethos is created with a basic premise of providing holistic education and enabling individuals to find and explore greater purpose in their lives, help to build righteous character and guide them in the right direction to transform themselves as universal citizens. It also aims to reinforce spiritual and emotional quotient among the student fraternity.

The objectives of Centre for Indian Ethos are as follows:

To impart knowledge of Indian Philosophy.
Develop citizens with values and culture of India with holistic approach.
Help reconnect with the Indian scriptures and impart eternal knowledge and timeless wisdom.
